| I have a 91tt that I am the third owner of. When I bought the car it had a separate key for the ignition, but after the year and a half that it has been stored and after my move, I seem to have lost the ignition key. Turns out to be a stupid move on my part, and yes I have searched everywhere. I went to nissan to get another key. They ordered one and I got the key cut using the key code on the passenger side door lock. The problem is that after getting the new key cut, it still wont turn the ignition. I am not sure what the problem is exactly. Could one of the previous owners replaced the ignition? Is the Ignition tumblers worn out to the point that nothing will work anymore? What is another option for me besides replacing the ignition key module? The car is in storage tomorrow I will try to see if the ignition key module was ever changed. What is a way to tell if this is the case?
